A set of 3 vases from the Silhouette collection, hand-built in white stoneware and finished with a spray of Kitten’s Clear glaze. Fired to cone 6. Each piece is minimal — just a simple arc, made to hold a single stem. Still, they carry words and meaning.
Two of the vases bear the poetry of Mary Oliver, who lived and wrote along the same coastline I now call home, in Massachussetts. The third holds the words of Clarice Lispector, whose voice shaped my own understanding of the world, growing up in Brazil. Together, they form a quiet bridge between geographies, languages, and lives.
This set is about presence and pause. A place for breath, for the things that speak loudest when there is space around them.
