Ring Vase | Jewel n.2
Slip-cast from a mold of my own making and fired to cone 6, this ring vase is glazed in deep turquoise green and satin white. Where the two glazes meet, a clean horizon line appears.
The shape is intentional and repeated, but no two finishes are ever the same. The choice of glazes, and the surface they meet, carry the memory of process, heat, and time.
Designed to hold a few stems or to stand alone, this piece holds slight irregularities where the glaze has dripped—traces of its transformation in the fire it passed through.
Dimensions (width x height x depth): 6.7” x 6.7” x 2” (17cm x 17 cm x 5 cm)
Weight: 1.5 lb (0.7 kg)
