Folding Walls

$240.00

This sculptural work is composed of two individual forms that nest together with natural precision. Hand-built using T1 clay and fired to cone 10, each segment is sprayed with a matte turquoise glaze that enhances its raw, earthy character. The surface is slightly rough—inviting to the touch, yet grounded in material honesty.

In Folding Walls, the clay slab is treated not as a rigid structure, but as soft and responsive—like a sheet of paper, folded gently to explore balance, tension, and flow. The result is a quiet conversation between structure and softness, where curves form naturally and negative space becomes part of the design.

A study in restraint and movement, this piece invites reflection on boundaries—how we bend, yield, and still hold shape.

Dimensions of both pieces nested together (width x height x depth): 11” x 8.8” x 14.2” (28cm x 22cm x 36cm)

Weight of both pieces nested together: x lb (x kg)
