Frequently Asked Questions

ATOS is a one-woman ceramics studio where each piece is made slowly, intentionally, and by hand.
Each season, I step into the studio and begin again. Some pieces come back easily, soft and simple. New pieces always come too, taking their time.
Rather than producing continuously, I follow this seasonal rhythm that works better for me. I share this work through our Releases—intentional offerings that happen a few times a year.
This allows me to stay close to my craft, focus on quality, and invite you into a more mindful way of collecting objects.
If you'd like to be notified about upcoming releases, I recommend signing up for the newsletter or following along on Instagram.

A Release is similar to what other brands call “drop”.
But here, it is a curated moment where I share a body of work that is ready to leave my studio. It reflects what I’ve been simmering in the season: texturing I’ve been drawn to, shapes new & reimagined, themes I’ve been exploring. These collections are announced ahead of time and available for sale online for a limited period.
-
Not at this time.
The best way to improve your chances of finding exactly what you want is by joining our mailing list (and sometimes waitlist) and being ready when the release start.
-
Each piece is one-of-a-kind and I make very limited quantities. While I often revisit a shape or glaze in my practice, I don’t recreate pieces exactly. Part of the beauty of this model is that each collection is unique to a moment.
Your selection is confirmed only when checkout is complete.

Currently, I ship within the U.S.
If you're outside the U.S. and interested in a piece, feel free to reach out via email—I’m sure we can find a way to work it out.

Yes. If you’re in the Boston area and don’t want to wait or pay for the shipping, I’d be happy to meet you in person with your order.
-
Orders are typically packed and shipped within 2–5 business days. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your piece is on its way.
-
Because of the handmade nature of each item, all sales are final.
That said, if something arrives damaged or you have concerns, please email me at daniella@atos.db, including photos of the item and packaging. I’ll either refund or replace the item, depending on availability.
-
Yes! ATOS pieces make meaningful gifts. If you’d like to send one directly, you can enter the recipient’s shipping address at checkout. I’ll wrap the piece with care and can include a handwritten note if you’d like — just leave your message in the order notes at checkout.
