Continuum is a collection that comes from an exercise of form, wholeness, repetition. The shape is intentional and repeated, but no two finishes are ever the same. The choice of glazes, application, and the surface they meet, carry the memory of the individual process they went through and the time spent with them.
Slip-cast from a mold of my own making and fired to cone 6, Ring no.7 was sprayed with seaglass and white gloss glazes.
Designed to hold a few stems or to stand alone, this piece holds traces of how color interacts with heat and amongst themselves.
